Fire-rated Ductwork

Fire-resisting ductwork is designed to remove smoke from buildings, ships, and offshore structures, facilitating emergency evacuation and enhancing firefighting efforts. These ductwork systems can be either coated or non-coated, making them suitable for installation in both multi-compartment and single-compartment applications, including smoke extraction, kitchen ventilation, pressurization, and general ventilation systems.

The ductwork system must be tested and certified to BS476 Part 24 or EN1366-1, -8, and -9 standards, ensuring compliance with 2-hour or 4-hour fire resistance ratings in accordance with the ISO 834 curve to meet the requirements of local authorities (AHJs).
